The Procurement leaders arent behaving as leaders of a support function. Instead they will go to any length to serve the business units wishlist rather than thier business needs, in order to keep them in good humour. The leaders jump up and down when there is a slight finger movement from business unit leaders, without really being fair and honest to what their function should be standing up for. The same respect is not extended to the function team members, rather they are expected to take orders. Teams are not only lean but moreover made to overwork. There is no opportunity lostto treat the functional employees based on perceptions of business unit rather than factual incidents or kpi.
