Orange postures competitively; the technology is not competitive. There is curtail on innovation and disruption to obtain a reputation of best in class. Marketing teams sometimes are pressured to create strategies that no one in management follows, the plans sit on the shelf when they could be used to increase corporate stature of technological achievements.
