      Pros

      There's a big gym in the headquarter where employees can exercise to relax the mind. The benefits provided by Oracle are great. The company is pretty stable since it is huge. Since it is a huge company, employees have good chance to make friends

      Cons

      Big company, not a lot of things to work on. Depends on your luck, you will get completely ignored by the middle management. Sometimes, there is nothing to work on for half a year. The application division sucks since most of the app products are very innovative; mostly through requisition.

      Pros

      You are working with a Product Company, they make the product, the sell the product, they support the product. This gives you unlimited product exposure. There is no limit to the training Programs one can take.

      Cons

      Favourism, Favourism and Favourism as long as u r good pal's with your manager's, you would go long way. No Ethics, Money Talks, the company would not want to loose a single penny on you. The day you are on bench and the quarter is bad you are out of the company. Live's in todays $$$$'s no long term investement on its employees. There are no standards followed when it comes to Promotions or Appraisals or Bonus time, it is the managers who decide. so if you are a good pal of your manager you grow.

      Pros

      At Oracle you receive very good industry recognition and respect from partners and others. The compensation is respectable and the health benefits are by and large excellent.

      Cons

      Most manages are of the Theory X variety, there is very little feedback about performance, yearly layoffs, a complete absence of career guidance and promotion is a crap shoot.
