      Pros

      Flexible work style and intense, smart people. Oracle has almost every type of tech product so you can gain expertise in almost any area.

      Cons

      Salaries not competitive--as a manager you spend a lot of time fielding complaints about compensation and growth opportunities. Never enough staff and resources! Middle management doesn't move along very quickly in some groups so there isn't always a lot of space for growth.

      Pros

      Depending on the campus: -gym -organized activities -relaxed atmosphere -diverse groups of people Everyone I've met in person has been very nice. The culture is excellent. Facilities are very nice.

      Cons

      Upper management is slow to respond. Compensation is a little low and the pay increases are not very large. It's also very difficult to "get ahead" due to employees coming over from the constant acquisitions. Also hard to get noticed because the pond is so large. Easy for others to take credit for your work.

      Larry's still in charge. Sales people rule - if you're an engineer try somewhere else.
