      - Opportunity to learn a range of differing skills at start of career. - Flat-ish hierarchy/start-up vibe means there's opportunity to take accountability/responsibility for projects outside of direct line of scope, especially with a supportive manager. -Good office perks and benefits.

      Office culture needs a rethink Well-intentioned attempt to create a fun and friendly culture not in the office back fired due to lack of solid HR foundation to begin with, leading to the typical gossipy/drama-filled culture of a tight-knit small office. This was not always sustainable or healthy and needs a rethink, especially as the team scales. Opaque performance review process Review process started straightforward and become more confusing and opaque during tenure. Some managers, on some teams, gave impression they were doing their staff a favour when pay rises were granted, instead of rewarding them for their contribution.
