Pros

You get to engage with Club Members about Nespresso Coffee. You get to share about Nespresso to potential consumers who are interested about the Machine technologies, Gran Cru capsules, and share the benefits about the Nespresso Club. You get to learn more and more about yourself between your strengths and weaknesses. Also, you have the ability and freedom to improve on your weaknesses without bitter constructive criticism. Managers are willing to help you if you have any questions or concerns about any doubts.

Cons

You need patience. You need compassion. You need to be willing to work hard and play a strong team player role. This isn't a negative review but this is a review that will help you to see if you have these powerful qualities before you are interested in working with Nespresso. All it takes is passion, loving what you like to do as a Coffee Specialist and being comfortable to work with the respected public and your team.

Hello, thank you for your review. Your comments are insightful and provide a behind-the-scenes description of some of the day-to-day interactions a Boutique Coffee specialist would experience. Yes you are right. At Nespresso, we have much to be proud of and passionate about. This passion is our asset. Our managers and coffee specialists must strive to set the standard. When we share these values with our customers, we will ignite their passion for our brand. Frequent product and company updates are available on our Employee Portal and also shared in our weekly Boutique Newsletter. Since I started in January, I have met with more than 600 employees and I will continue to facilitate direct interactions between coffee specialists and management to listen and get even more feedback and ideas. Pros

Passionate team and people, a true pride to work for such a great company and incredible products. Fast pace, incredible opportunities to meet many different people. Great networking.

Cons

Too much politics get in the way of moving forward. Too slow to make decision and to innovate in some areas. Too many people work in sillos and lack of clarity and communication. Lack of resources in some areas. Give power back to market instead of trying to control it all.

Pros

The amount of pay for the job that is needed is really good. You receive quarterly bonuses for how well you do in sales however, you're not obligated to do really well in sales, just sell. The product is top class and they stand behind their coffee 100%. The company does care about the employee so long as you don't make too many waves or disagree too much. If you are not doing well in sales they will coach you and help you meet your goals as long as you try. Free coffee!

Cons

There are too many chiefs and not enough people making real change to resolve the problems they have. The website doesn't work the way it should, the system is archaic and have a marketing team that is as knowledgable as a pack of kindergarteners on how to effectively promote or execute a promotion. There are managers that have one person under them and really take up space or are redundant. The quarterly bonuses are not paid out in a separate check so 70% of it gets taken away in taxes.
