More is added to your tasks past required job functions if you’re too quick physically.

Hello Stock Associate, Your review features a conflicting view on the benefits of being “quick” in your role. It sounds like you have the potential to grow, as you’re clearly able to do your job quickly, and although you may be doing so in order to “get away with loafing around”, your actions show that you can take on more. I encourage you to lean into these additional opportunities and ask your manager how you can turn these added tasks into an opportunity to grow with Nespresso USA. I’d like to welcome you to contact me directly to discuss further, happy to help. Thank you, Barbara La Rocca VP of HR, Nespresso USA

Pros

. Monthly Coffee Allowance . Gifts at Easter/Christmas . Quarterly and Annual Bonus . Use the job as a point to apply for secure internal vacancies within Nestle. This is what anybody with sense seems to do.

Cons

. No work/life balance. . No support for health and wellbeing. . Expected to cover shifts at short notice - viewed unfavourably and regarded as "not a team player" if you decline. . Forced to book your entire years holiday entitlement in January - impossible to plan your life. . Never leave a shift on time, always expected to work overtime. This never gets paid as the company views itself as "not quid pro". . Expected to read and sign new rules and regulations constantly. Very easy to loose track of current rules - this will be used against you at any opportunity. . Impossible to track current quarterly and annual bonus progress as you will never get access to a company pc to access the SSIP service. . Will be treat like a child and talked down to from management . Will be treat like a servant whenever any of the pretentious, high and mighty Gatwick based staff come to visit the boutique. Expect to be a coat rack, bell boy, waiter and fountain of knowledge; all whilst performing your regular duties. . IT systems are useless. The Nessoft till systems are archaic and backwards. PDQ readers are not linked to the tills so there is a large margin for error. . You have to wear the Nespresso uncomfortable uniform. Includes itchy "Blackpool rock" striped shirt, grey flannel parachute pants, uncomfortable foam banana soled brogues and the most pathetic excuse of a belt you will ever experience. .You are essentially working for an unethical African baby killing, Holocaust supporting, water thieving, Robert Mugabe loving, rainforest hating conglomerate. You will frequently be made to preach about the positive contributions Nespresso and Nestle make to this world. If like me you have any personal code of ethics this will quickly become debilitating.
