Pros

One of the best decision I made IS TO WORK FOR THE NHS . I work in A/E and its busy all the time which I like . The reason I live is to help people who are vulnerable and in need. I have supportive colleagues and equally supportive matrons .

Cons

Its a shift work which means I have to work 12 hours and 30 minutes continuously which can be tiring , oh and the night shifts too can be very tiring . Most of the time I'm on my feet which means after a long night my whole body aches .

Pros

Extremely flexible employer with good staff benefits. Access to free training to advance and support career development. Always changing, unpredictable and exciting when in the right department.

Cons

Can be boring as hell, too much management hierarchy. Decisions made on a whim mean lots of money wasted in the NHS which could be put to better use. Nurses are underpaid, overworked and bitter about their life choice.
