Pros

Good pay and holidays, colleagues nice to work with, work place easy to get to, full training given and support when on the job

Cons

Shift work is a pain for child care, though there's a kitchen area to eat in, only 1 vending machine available and that doesn't always work

Pros

NHS discounts various...being a contractor the only one I really take advantage of is Nandos.

Cons

Personally I havent enjoyed my stints with the NHS. The breakfast/food provided that you have to pay for SUCKS. Programme Support Officer can mean PA/Admin/valet just make sure you ask what you'll actually be doing. they tend to list everything and anything on the JD.
