Pros

Vacation time is great for the Undergrad entry level program. Very much a 9-5:30 job. Client interaction early. Exposure to many different industries. Would be a great starting point if you plan to remain in the insurance industry.

Cons

Training is terrible, there are no hard technical skills learned on the job that are transferable outside of the insurance industry. A lot of busy work, no actual skills training. The program itself and your development greatly depends on your direct supervisor. Not all are even decent at teaching or developing others. As mentioned in other reviews - promotions, schedule accommodations, expense accounts, Amex cards -are dependent on who you know and how much they like you.
