      Pros

      Great people who are true experts in their respective fields and overall good colleagues to work with and for.

      Cons

      Need more transparency on salary and compensation from initial offer through employment. I have no idea what the salary ranges are in the grade scale and was also misinformed regarding the bonus policy.

      Pros

      Benefits are fair, good education support, good training program, supportive of flexible schedules and family considerations.

      Cons

      Pay is low and the longer you work at Marsh the further behind your peers at other companies you get. Support staff cuts mean very long hours. The only way to get a decent raise is to threaten to leave, it seems. Complicated and redundant work systems.

      Pros

      You learn a lot about insurance and, if you apply yourself, can take away from the experience quite a lot of transferable skills.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, your experience depends greatly upon to whom you report. Some people are much happier than others, doing the same work, simply because they are on another team. Compensation is not on par with the cost of living.
