      the worst experience ever

      - few people from the team

      - CTO is a bully and a hypocrite. Tech teams don't communicate with him, so he pours out his frustration on different teams doing exactly the same thing. - they brag about their company's values but they are just words, there is no embodiment of them inside the company. - there is micromangement, and questioning what are you doing constantly. - during recruitment process they are looking for and saying how much data driven and improvement-focused they are, but in reality if you want to change something there is a bunch of obstacles from management and even the smallest thing needs to be approved. - the communication is this organization does not exist. Management do not talk with eachother, if you are bellow you typically don't know what is going on because no one is telling you anything. So often times you get crucial informations by accident, or you need to become your manager and get to the bottom of the issue but then you don't even know who to ask because different people tell you different things. - constant stress and to much work on one to handle. - management do not listen to you if you bring up any problem. - overall fakeness - all smiles, everything is good, there are no problems.

As a company we have gone through a significant amount of change since we entered a new growth chapter in the second half of last year. As such, the tech evolution at Mangopay has been accelerated with meaningful milestones and achievements. These include Mangopay transitioning to fully running on cloud, our data platform being boosted to its nextgen phase, our tech stack being modernized and becoming more scalable and polyglot, as well as engineering and product working extremely closely together in cross-functional teams, plus more than doubling our talent headcount in tech and product to cover a much wider portfolio. We appreciate that this magnitude and velocity of change - which is essential to the company’s growth, doesn’t suit everyone, and some team members could find this is not a good fit for their own expertise, their existing skill sets and their own appetite for change. Today, Mangopay offers significant tech challenges for engineers who enjoy problem solving and find fulfilment in taking part in a substantial tech journey whilst being given the ability to make a significant impact. Our culture has always been kind and respectful at all levels and we are continuously looking for like minded individuals to join us on our exciting journey.       Salary is decent but thats it.

      Too much micromanagement, as someone posted CTO is a bully , Expectations are unrealistic, Whole company just runs on slack its a mess.

Mangopay offers significant tech challenges for engineers who enjoy problem solving and find fulfilment in taking part in a substantial tech journey whilst being given the opportunity to make a significant impact. We are ambitious so we shoot for the stars, but we appreciate that this pace does not suit everyone. Like many other companies, we leverage the benefits of Slack for collaboration purposes, using its integration with other applications and ability to automate workflows to support our work.
