Pros

Good place to work as an entry level engineer. You get a very diverse introduction to many aspect of engineering. Great opportunities if you like management and project leadership.

Cons

There is a lot of micro-management. The place can be a little top heavy in terms of management. If you desire a technical career path as opposed to a management career track your options are limited. The pay can be a bit low unless you are one of the select few. There is too much management by yelling.

Pros

I work in space systems. The projects and technology are great, There are great opportunities to work in very interesting research. You will work with very skilled engineers and scientist.

Cons

slow career development, slow salary growth = 3%. In addition it is very hard to try to work on different divisions. If you want a fast pace environment this is not the place for you. There is a ton of paper work and procedures that slows down you work. Some of it is unnecessary but you still have to do it. Doing business development is very slow and cumbersome with all the regulations.
