Pros

It's hard to get fired unless you violate security procedures or there is a reduction in workforce.

Cons

Much bureacracy and red tape, innovation is stifled. Major salary compression, lousy annual raises. Too many processes, things that make total business sense aren't done and fighting for change is rarely successful. Many bad middle managers. Pervasive culture of not valuing their employees, this manifests itself in many ways.

Pros

A four day work week

Cons

No longer the work life balance we used to have with the new VPs. We used to be able to manage our schedules and now they require us to be in office for a minimum of 10 hours a day. Zero value added going into the office for Procuremnet job just to sit in tiny cube all day that you have to share. Management has gone downhill.

Pros

Some truly outstanding individual contributors work at this company, and they deserve leadership that matches their caliber.

Cons

As a veteran, I have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Unfortunately, I experienced firsthand how integrity can be punished rather than rewarded. Alongside more than 15 colleagues, I raised serious concerns about a senior manager who consistently bypassed engineering and quality in critical planning decisions. This not only fostered a toxic work environment but also compromised product safety. Despite escalating these concerns to HR, Ethics, and even a VP, no meaningful action was taken. Our claims were dismissed as unsubstantiated. However, when these same issues were reported to our customer (DCMA), the concerns were validated. A dedicated team spent months correcting the resulting process failures. Despite this, the senior manager faced zero accountability and was quietly reassigned to another site in the same role. Meanwhile, those of us who spoke up were marginalized. I believe my commitment to doing the right thing played a part in how poorly I was treated. It became clear that protecting leadership took priority over supporting the workforce—or even ensuring the safety of the aircraft and those who fly them. If you're someone who values ethics, collaboration, and transparency, this may not be the right environment for you. Leadership accountability and psychological safety remain major areas for improvement.
