Pros

Pay, some co-workers, give aways.

Cons

Worst Sr. Management, No plan, Manager was too busy kissing his bosses butt. Don't trust people w/years experience in retail and consumer goods in US. Boss too busy w/double standards. Some work from home, others can't? Not worth the hassle of working there. Work life? Right. Run the other way.

Pros

Good pay Can get extra hours easily

Cons

Management is horrendous, full of bullies who try and throw their weight around Not enough time to get jobs done properly They do not care about you in the slightest Pick and choose who they want to enforce the rules with Managers sit back and do nothing while customer assistants run the store.

Pros

You can move up quickly if you work 80+ hours a week. And if they do decide to move you up don't expect your new pay anytime soon.

Cons

Okay 13 dollars an hour is good for a teenager which is most of the people i work with. But 13 dollars to sprain your back, have unrealstic goals and time frames when the store is understaffed is not worth the pay. The manager is so rude to people he knows he can push around. I mean crussing at you like a sailor. The new assistant store manager is worse. So many hard working supervisors walked out and others quit because she is terrible. She will treat you like trash! When you read this review and others beleive them when we say management is incompetent and trash at lidl! I've herd from different nearby stores how they are understaffed and being worked to death!! I literally sprained my back once really bad. And guess what? Didn't get compesated for the days i HAD to miss cause i was in so much pain. So did my supervisor and one other assoicate i work with. They want stores to be under staffed to have good prod. But also no one wants to deal with the stressful bull. You'd think if you're being scheduled 9-10 hours they can give you your 2 15 min breaks but if they are busy they'll tell you no. Supervisors are treated like scum even more. One supervisor got sat down in the BREAKROOM not the managers office the BREAKROOM where everyone can walk in and out and hear the managers and district managers talking to him like someone without common sense. Literally so degrading because he couldn't get the team to get things done on time. WHEN WE ARE UNDERSTAFFED. It wasn't his fault. It's there fault for not hiring more people. I'm just tired of seeing other people get treated like garbage. And being stressed out and sore when it doesn't have to be that way. They're still a developing company in the states, so they still are developing policies and ways to figure out how to run the store.
