Pros

I met some great people at this company. Most of them left during my tenure. I got to work from home 2 days a week. If you are willing to put in the hours, and be a company drone then you will progress. When you prove you can do your job you will be recognised but only on management terms Pay is very good. Holiday after service is good

Cons

Work life balance isn’t a thing If your face doesn’t fit neither will you. Don’t have an opinion that isn’t your line managers. Don’t make one mistake and own up to it because you will be dismissed Others your line manager especially will pretend to have your back but actually will not. Your ideas will be used but you will not get the credit and if you do it will be short lived. Micro management is a problem. Diversity is very lacking. Other absence policy not great but I read this has changed recently

Pros

The salary draws you in, that is a pro, some of the staff make your day bearable

Cons

Higher up. They have no idea what it’s like being on the shop floor every single day. They micromanage you on every single thing you do. It creates an awful atmosphere and makes you unmotivated. Then when you’re seen to be unmotivated, they’ll follow their ridiculous path to get rid of you. A current Head of Sales once told a Store Manager that everyone is just a replaceable number. People who have devoted so much of their effort and life into this company leave. The company is currently making more money than ever, but cutting more hours? They’ll tempt you in with a payrise, but it does not equate to what they put you through.
