Pros

They have a parking garage and an over priced cafeteria onsite

Cons

You start your day behind the 8-ball. The queue is already 3 digits deep and you have metrics to maintain. You can't get up to use the rest room or grab a drink if you need a minute to recompose yourself after a difficult call. You do that on your scheduled break times. It's call after call after call, The building is massive so you have to sprint in order to get a snack or a drink AND use the restroom in the 15 minute time allotment. Your half hour lunch hardly feels like a break. And when you've busted your hump all month or all year, the appreciate they show is occasional pizza. It's very similar to unalive by a thousand cuts. It was such a high paced high stress position that permanent damage was done to my heart. I had to leave for my health. The pressure of the calls, the pressure of maintaining your metrics and your boss never going to bat for you if there's a dispute with a call really makes for a horrible job.

Pros

100% remote option. Paid for licensing.

Cons

Low base salary. Terrible comp plan that gets worse every calendar year. 90% of leads will be automatically rejected by Liberty and your only option will be to offer 3rd party carrier products of which only 1-2 carriers will actually be willing to make offer and of those offers 10% or less will convert. Average rep comp is around $2000 a month or less, top performers are around $5000-$8000. No opportunity to advance your career because the corporate environment is all about office politics and not actual merit. You will see individuals promoted who have no idea how to do the role they were in already but had a friend above push for them to get it over someone more qualified. Good luck being a heterosexual white male here, you will be treated like a villain simply for showing up as yourself. The hiring demographic here prioritizes ESG DEI scores over getting talent with actual merit and skills in both the sales reps and the lower management positions. Every month new 3rd party carriers pull out from the program and now we are down to less than 3-4 carriers per state to offer a client at most. In most cases you will have 1 or none.

Pros

I've enjoyed my time at Liberty up until the return to office announcement. I enjoyed the flexible work arrangements and always felt like my manager cared about me. I also felt like the company was willing to invest in me with additional training, paying for graduate school, etc.

Cons

The recent announcement of returning to office is not only a decision being met by extreme dislike by employees, it has been handled very poorly by management. We've been told over and over there was going to be no return to office, and now they threw it on employees with few details so we all have to sit and wait to learn how it'll actually work. Management has been very tone deaf and not addressed employee concerns outside of listing out our concerns and saying they saw them - that's not addressing concerns! How this has been handled is making me and other top performing employees want to find jobs elsewhere. Top performers that can find other jobs will, leaving the company with lower performing employees that have a harder time getting employed elsewhere. This has a negative impact on Diversity and Inclusion as Liberty already is pretty white and in office work has a disproportionately negative impact on minorities.
