Pros

The Berkeley Lab is an amazing place to do science, I absolutely loved my time here. As a national lab, it strikes the perfect balance between being research focused without being too 'academic' and focused on just publishing papers. This is something I noticed and several other colleagues also found to be true.

Cons

Basically none apart from the very relaxed rules on hybrid working (very calm in the office most of the days, which I actually preferred).
