Pros
It's a place you can be proud of in terms of its role in society and in science. People are very nice although pretty political and a lot of lazy useless people who do very little because it's hard to fire anyone. Worklife balance is great, you never do more than 40 hours, and there are plenty of sick days. Benefits great too with a pension.
Cons
Quality issues: you have to work with a lot of lazy useless people who do very little, and this can be soul destroying eventually and you start to become like that yourself.
