      Great Benefits and Great Organization - All comes down to your direct manager

      Pros

      Very financially strong company with a structure built for advancing people and helping them achieve their goals. They are moving more towards work in the states which is encouraging for those who want to stay in the US.

      Cons

      Your direct manager makes all the difference in the world. This applies to any field; however, when you are working on a 3+ year long project, working with a poor manager can make life a little more difficult than it needs to be. Make sure you meet the individuals you will be working for before signing up. Good luck!

      Pros

      KBR is a large corporation. If you want to work overseas, it's a good place to get there. The benefits are okay.

      Cons

      Because it is a large company, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. You have to fight for promotions and recognition for a job well done. The yearly increases in pay are pitiful and can be considered a personal insult if you have worked hard all year. The management has a hands-off approach and they don't seem to care at all. The Leadership is nil. Why do they bother at all? They don't lead. They sit in their gilded cages and sing the songs that the Government wants to hear.

      Job security, some people, the young engineering group development.

      Cons

      Upper management is disconnected (they do not understand the industry) and because of the good old boy and girl network, we are moving back in time and not progressing into the future.
