      Pros

      Want to work in a company that is recognized worldwide? this is the place. There is no other place that have the kind of brand equity that J&J possesses in its arsenal - basically they 'own' baby, and their diversification makes the company a little bit more secure than the rest.

      Cons

      This company is now a huge elephant full of politics. The old mantra was "Small company environment, big company impact" - wel, it's really big company bureocracy, small company resources.... The company has become so slow that is even difficult to undertake must do projects or initiatives.

      J&J is a good company for employees - Depending which division you work!

      Pros

      Benefits seem good, colleagues are respectful of the company and are a pleasure to work with. I was proud of the company as a whole although there are small factions of management that do not work well with employees. If you are with a good division within J&J it is great- you will be happy for life! If your division is devicive, you will feel sorry for every day you come to work!

      Cons

      Belief in the Credo is a corporate initiative, doesn't trickle down to actual rank & file when you need it. The performance review plan is a joke, you are required to get peer reviews although your immediate supervisor has the last word. I had personal problems with my super- no matter how good my peer reviews were he would override them as well as my raise and/or bonus.
