      Internal progression only happens if you get in good with hiring individuals or went to same school, college and same university. Or drink with the "in crowd"

      Strong base salary, company car package for manager level & annual pay increase & bonus

      Cons

      Hard to get job satisfaction, very corporate culture, lots of games & using corporate buzz words. Worth getting the name on your CV but wouldn't recommend staying for too long.

      Pros

      There are some genuinely good people that work here. You won't be stabbed in the back, yelled at, or berated ever. People come together to solve problems and work on really difficult projects.

      Cons

      If you are in your mid career stage and you are looking to make the jump to management, you are out of luck here. Managers tend to get promoted to wherever they feel comfortable and then sit there for 10-20 years, except if the CEO personally likes you - then you have your pick of whatever job you want. Many smart people work their butts off, do all the right things, and then are passed over for promotion or just get tired of waiting around to move up, so they leave. Turnover of smart mid career people is huge because of this. I was there for 5+ years and not once did anyone ask me what my career goals/aspirations were.
