Pros

Great facilities, including good cafetaria, sports facilities and state of the art office spaces. Well defined support systems and workplace policies.

Cons

This may be an experience due to my specific team and hopefully, does not allow to the organization as a whole. The management was oblivious to the demands made on our time by the projects they would take up. We were mostly understaffed on our projects and the work almost always required more than 8 hours of effort, with weekends thrown in fairly often. The formal attire made no sense in a coding job, nor did the condescending management.

Pros

Except brand name their is nothing much here. Good brand name for people coming in from smaller organizations. Decent starting salaries for lateral entrants and after the first year salaries stagnate.

Cons

Not a place to pick up new skills and competencies. Very immature, unprofessional people with superficial knowledge. Old timers who have joined before 2005 are rather arrogant having earned lot of money in ESOPs. Lot of politics by old timers who do not let others prove themselves and try to supress them.

Pros

+ Great Training facilities + Good looking buildings. Make you feel you work in a big company. + Good scope of knowledge sharing

Cons

- Peanuts in the name of Salary. Salary hike of 6.5% given in last 2 years. - No scope of employee growth after iRace - Promotions very rare and far fetched. - Onsite oppurtunities. WHAT is that ? - HR cares only for Policies. - It is such a company, where even if you work hard and be the best. Your final evaluation will be done on the basis of certifications you clear. Just like a primary school. - If you are around 2 yrs experienced you will realize that freshers get same or even more salary that yours. - Employee moral is at all time low. Everyone I meet around is thinking of leaving Infosys and heavily dissatisfied. - After iRace to be a PM you need around minimum 10 - 12 years because of the robust CRR process. Even that also is a big question mark.
