Pros

Non-compsci rad taken on in their first batch of "local hires", a new strategy to build an army of homegrown consultants to quickly deploy on site. A good strategy in theory. Training was outsourced to QA Academy and that was excellent. However I believe it is now entirely in house and is pretty poor. Hiring is diverse. Office has ping pong and pool tables.

Cons

If you're lucky you'll get deployed to some big enterprise, and the work is usually good (but obviously depends on the company). However more than half of our cohort were not deployed within 6 months; many are still not four years later and appear to be completely forgotten about. You don't need to come in to the office when on the "bench" so your time is truly yours. It may sound good to be paid to do nothing but good luck trying to explain that in a job interview when you inevitably get sick of it. Pay is abysmal and no chance of a meaningful raise or career progression within the company. Infosys bill the same amount for your services regardless of how well you do your job onsite, so there's actually a perverse incentive not to try and keep you as you grow and demand more renumeration but instead replace you with a new grad.

Pros

No pros and i would not recommend this org at all

Cons

This is one of the worst companies that i ever worked for. The managers are not technical and they expect people to work like slaves They don't even know anything when client asks a technical question and commits all the work which client mentions They believe that the client is their manager and they don't even care about their team who works for infosys I would suggest that they need to employ more technical folks at higher levels rather than employing age old people who know nothing about technical stuff. Lastly i would not recommend anyone in US or anywhere else in this world to work for this organization where they don't even know what work life balance means.

Pros

Steady job, good learning and development intranet, some opportunities to get certifications. Nice selection of clients, if you can manage to get a choice/ option there is a good stock. As with the industry norm, diversity and inclusion is at an all time high push .. even if paid maternity leave was only introduced 3 yrs ago. Yes .... there was actually no paid maternity or paternity leave, (ask about 401k ....)

Cons

Narrative and your review based pretty much on what the engagement manager made of your work ( and equation with him). Do a fabulous job, get rave reviews but if you aren't the fav ... you will get the medium average rating. Find your own way to get noticed, extraordinary efforts to get even slight recognition. Also luck of the draw. Salary is what you bargain when you join. After that you can forget about anything more than a few hundred dollars bump for 5-8 yrs (unless you get promoted , which is a huge effort and favor that you will be made to pay for)
