Pros

Flexibility and work from home. Management doesn't care when you come in or go out so you are pretty much free to do whatever you want, very useful if you have some obligations in the middle of the day like picking up a kid from daycare.

Cons

Extra long hours, no OT, crappy promotions, crappy bonus, crappy raises, management doesn't seem to know what's going on when important decisions come from above nor do they seem to know/care about who's doing what in their teams save a few people.

Pros

Work, life balance is realistic and very advantageous. Flexibility in work schedule and location is left to mobile employees giving you the opportunity to live anywhere in the world. Company is committed to social responsibility and maintains very competitive and liberal employment policies. Great corporate values.

Cons

Glass ceiling for associate partners. Still old boys network. Company needs to walk the talk. Lip service given to many real, day-to-day policies that employees are supposed to live by. Company often alters annual policies mid year making it difficult to live up to personal business commitments. Employees often bogged down by internal paperwork and bureaucracy making it difficult to get work done.

Pros

Good place to start, having name on resume opens a lot of doors. Don't stay more than 4 years. Management really pretty good about giving you time off for family/personal issues. First-line managers really seem to appreciate empoyees, very limited in their abilty to do much for their employees.

Cons

Way too stifling, way too much NIH (Not Invented here), too proud to realize that other companies passing them by, too bureucratic to change what's necessary to turn the boat. Unless you were there through the heydays, compensation totally inadequate and doesn't even come close to keeping up with competition. (That doesn't change much with organizational advancement, either.) Make sure you get a good salary on the way in, it won't change much, regardless of your oerformance.
