IBM reviews

IBM will work you to death. They will pigeonhole you in the same job, limit your ability to learn and grow so that you can have a lifelong career. They will treat you like a piece of meat, and dump you in a heartbeat. You can do a great job, and get great results, and you can work 80 hours a week. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that they reach their profit targets, so the upper executives can get their big fat bonuses. You will be subjected to unending stress and never know from one minute to the next if you still have a job. You will usually not get an honest review of your work as management will rank you against other employees. Even if management has a very talented and high performing team, some people will be ranked lower and get lowball performance assessments. There is no fairness or honesty in the performance assessment system.

Middle mangement's egos get in the way of them letting the people they manage do training or take the credit for having extra respoanbilty(They are quiet happy to give the responabily and take the credit themselves and pass on the blame to you) incase in the future you are both going for the same postion
