Pros

Really thrilling engineering challenges and problems to solve. Feeling to be surrounded by competent and intelligent persons. Interns are well perceived and can wander around the whole site to ask questions on their problems. Their insight is appreciated. Montpellier is a cool city.

Cons

Not extremely fast-paced, maybe not enough for some. Intern pay is low compared to standards. Sometimes they don't have much work for interns and consequently give you stupid tasks.

Pros

IBMers are globally very competent and willing to share their knowledge. Young people do have the ability to learn greatly in a very short time.

Cons

Compensations are lower than other companies for the same job. Employees moral is quite low. Motivation decreases as the company makes benefits and salaries stay the same.

Pros

The pay is mediocre, but better than a lot of other mall jobs - benefits, same deal. Job security is non-existent because although it requires a lot of training and memorization, the turn-over rate is ridiculous. Promotions and raises are a joke- people become underhanded and nasty when sales are concerned and only numbers count. It really is a combination of luck and a little skill when it comes to this company and sales. The products are marked up ridiculously high and people are paying for what they think is a novelty.

Cons

Job performance reviews can be stressful, especially when you feel that you are being criticized for your work methods and manner. Responding in a thoughtful, objective and proactive manner to a job performance review will make the experience a positive one for you and for the future of your job. If you take the attitude that you can learn from a performance review, you'll grow even better within your chosen field of work. Always keep in mind that the way that you respond to a performance review says a lot about your character and influences the next review.
