The company is more ops-driven, then tech-driven. They hired plenty of offline people and operate more like an agency rather an innovative company. Family members and personal friends receive preferential treatment for management positions, regardless of their qualifications. Speaking up or expressing dissent can result in termination, even if you're a strong performer. Because the management doesn't agree on the vision of the company, they can't enable the areas to work towards a shared objective. Employees are putting in their best efforts, but the lack of alignment results in wasted talent. Internally, there is a prevailing lack of confidence in the company's potential for success. Very few people believe in the current management, and the best ones already left.
