Pros

Unfortunately nothing good anymore there

Cons

This company used to be all about cool new ideas, but it's really gone south. The CEO acts pretty childish and doesn't seem to know what he's doing. They've fired a bunch of people a lot of times, which makes everyone worried about their jobs. The bosses are part of the problem too. They play favorites and treat people badly, making work a really unhappy place. Nobody seems to know where the company is headed and they're doing some things that don't seem right. They also lie a lot when they talk to the public, making things sound way better than they are. This is really unfair to the people who work there and believed in the company. Overall, it's sad to see a company that was once so cool turn into something so bad.

Company that lost momentum

Pros

Prime office location in downtown Dubai. Historically, the company boasted standout talent in mid-level roles and line positions.

Cons

The company hasn't quite hit the mark in Real Estate, with mortgages being their primary success. There's a clear gap in product leadership, making their delivery approach seem a tad unorganized. Over the past year, there's been significant turnover in the C-suite, with many new managers pushing for restructures, often without clear reasons. The co-founding CTO was let go in favor of a new hire from a food delivery background. Surprisingly, this new CTO hinted he might exit within 6-8 months — an unusual move for a series A startup aiming for series B. While he did bring some positive changes, there's a noticeable trend of favoritism, as he often promoted individuals from his previous affiliations or his own region. The company is more ops-driven, then tech-driven. They hired plenty of offline people and operate more like an agency rather an innovative company. Feedback on platforms like Glassdoor hasn't brought much change, and the CEO seems to primarily engage with a close-knit circle

Pros

The office has free coffee.

Cons

The management team is unprepared for their responsibilities and lacks knowledge about the market. They're trying to do everything at the same time and expecting unrealistic results from it. The CEO is inexperienced, tries to oversimplify problems, and seems disconnected from daily operations. The C-Level executives habitually shift blame onto others, setting employees up for failure. Instead of taking responsibility for their lack of vision and direction, they foster a culture of pointing fingers and gossip within Huspy. Family members and personal friends receive preferential treatment for management positions, regardless of their qualifications. Speaking up or expressing dissent can result in termination, even if you're a strong performer. Because the management doesn't agree on the vision of the company, they can't enable the areas to work towards a shared objective. Employees are putting in their best efforts, but the lack of alignment results in wasted talent. Internally, there is a prevailing lack of confidence in the company's potential for success. Very few people believe in the current management, and the best ones already left.
