Pros

They have very clear career progression metrics and timeline planned, hit them and it's easy to climb up. I was also very lucky to have fun team members in the ISC team.

Cons

nature of top of funnel sales role could feel repetitive on the day to day. you'd need to find ways to motivate yourself. deals with high volume of chats, emails, and calls each month.

Pros

Good for remote work, talented colleagues. Onboarding team will prepare you well!

Cons

I was so excited when I joined Hubspot only to find out after less than a year the company couldn’t care less of losing “junior” sales representatives neither senior ones. Consider very carefully joining, and research well what team and market you’d be covering. My personal experience was disappointing; I left after less than a year due to lack of empathy from manager after reporting bully behaviour and breach of policies of another senior GS (Account Executive). Honestly, I don’t tolerate being bullied and I couldn’t work anymore in a company that treats employees based on their title and their quota achievement. If you’re senior AE bringing tons of money and crushing quota , the rules and polices won’t apply to you. Meaning you’d be able to steal accounts, bully others, and make your ego shine. This toxic environment is driving great talent and honest people away. So if I were you, I would look elsewhere!

Pros

I spent five years at HubSpot, and for the majority of that time, the "HEART" acronym truly felt alive. When I joined, the caliber of talent and the genuine empathy of my colleagues were unmatched. It was a place where "the people" was the unanimous answer to why we stayed. I am grateful for the growth, the friendships, and the professional foundation I built here.

Cons

As the company has shifted its focus heavily toward AI and automated scale, the human element has noticeably eroded. In my final year, I experienced a significant disconnect between the company’s public stance on mental health and the reality of how it is handled at the management level. The turning point for me was seeing a past, resolved medical issue used as a performance critique rather than being treated with the empathy HubSpot usually prides itself on. When a period of illness is weaponized in a performance review a year after the fact, it signals that the psychological safety that once defined the culture is no longer a priority.
