Pros

Great people and team, care about your success and wellbeing

Cons

Fast paced and things change all the time. Very much start up culture for the team I was on.

Pros

WLF Work from home pay

Cons

The company’s culture has shifted to focus heavily on performance. A few years ago, HubSpot put real effort into being one of the “Best Places to Work” and regularly landed in the top 10 or 20. But that’s changed. Now, there’s more pressure around hitting metrics like “green squares,” which has led to burnout and a noticeable dip in morale. The recent layoffs didn’t help either—mixed messages around them left people feeling uneasy, and the company’s reputation took a hit. On top of that, changes to the vacation policy added more uncertainty at a time when people were already on edge. In the past year alone, close to five people on my team have left—most of them senior—further impacting team stability and morale.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're happy to hear you appreciate our hybrid policy and compensation. We’re in the midst of an intentional culture evolution—one designed to bring more clarity, consistency, and alignment as we grow. That means making deliberate choices about how we lead, how we operate, and how we shape the next chapter of the company. We recognize that not everyone will see these changes the same way. But we’re confident in the direction we're headed and in the principles guiding our decisions. Burnout is something we take very seriously - if you’re experiencing this, please do connect with your manager or HRBP so we can get you the support you need. Lastly, while guardrails were added to PTO to make it more equitable for all, no benefits have been peeled back. See the Wiki or HelpSpot for more information. Thanks for all that you do for HubSpot!
