Pros

Compensation is competitive & benefits Plenty of nice colleagues

Cons

5pm club - have a system where they auto assign accounts to you throughout the day & if you are over 400 accounts at 5pm they take some off you (could be best accounts) & recycle them into a pool, meanwhile other reps then steal these accounts & are actively encouraged to do so. This system can't be turned off so if taking time off you need to bring your laptop to make sure your colleagues don't steal your accounts. Toxic Culture - also can't take more than a week off in sales, managers will grill you High turnover as people are burning out

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry to see you move on from HubSpot. Our goal on the Sales team is to create a high-performance environment that also prioritizes fairness, teamwork, and support. We understand that some of our systems and processes need to evolve, which is why our sales leadership team is addressing this, and so much more. We would like to clarify that as part of the Growth Specialist/AE role, reps are allowed to source from open accounts. We know how demanding sales can be, and burnout is something we take seriously. Leadership is actively working to assess and refine areas that impact rep experience, and this includes how we balance urgency with sustainability. Thank you for the role you played during your time at HubSpot, and best of luck in your next role. – The Sales Leadership Team

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. It’s great to hear that you enjoy our culture and that you see a clear growth path. You’re right that there has been a lot of change in sales, particularly as leadership changed. Leadership is taking feedback like yours on board and using it to shape what's next. While change can be challenging, we’re confident in the direction we’re headed and excited about the clarity and improvements still to come. Thanks again for all that you do to contribute to HubSpot’s success! – The Sales Leadership Team
