Pros

1. you're surrounded by some of the best talent in the whole industry - tons of opportunities to learn more. 2. there's a real openness to be entrepreneurial, learn more about different functions and to grow your own reputation. HubSpot does everything to help you here. 3. there are endless progression opportunities - moving horizontally or vertically, you'll have loads of opportunities to try new things regardless of your experience. 4. we have free lunches, a gym in the office, free beer and chocolate. You can work from home when you like and the office environment is VERY relaxed (not a suit in sight and more sofas than office chairs). 5. when you work here, you genuinely care about the company.

Cons

1. the company is growing really big at the moment so making a huge impact can sometimes be difficult, but those that put the hours in will achieve this.

Thanks for the review, and glad you're enjoying the new Dublin office--I too love the sofas and overall feel in the new space there. Most importantly, I love that you said the company and the team does everything to help you--that is at the core of our mission and commitment to employees, so really glad you're feeling the impact of that in your day to day work. Most importantly, thanks for being a big part of our team's success there--we're just getting started in Dublin, and will rely heavily on your help to keep us growing and high-impact there. Sincerely, Katie

Pros

HubSpot really cares about its people and its candidate experience. I'm constantly impressed by the level of expertise demonstrated by my colleagues. The workplace benefits are really just the icing on top of an atmosphere that is consistently interesting and challenging. It's clear to me that my career growth is valued.

Cons

So far I haven't found any worth noting here. It's easy to get overwhelmed with information, people, perks, but anyone is willing to point you in the right direction if you take the time to ask!

Thanks for your review and for calling out our recruiting team for such a fantastic candidate experience--they are remarkable at what they do. I agree that the information overload can be a bit much (we need to streamline that a bit more), and that our management training the L&D team developed is already having an impact on manager interactions including yours, so thanks for sharing that. Really appreciate your hard work, and thanks for making the decision to join our team, we are lucky to have you! -Katie

Pros

Pro= A great place to grow your career. Here is my personal experience working for HubSpot for a little over 5 years: Before I joined the HubSpot sales team I had ~8 years sales experience, so like a lot of folks on the Sales team here, I was pretty well along into my career. I understood sales when I joined the company, but 5 years later I've also had the chance to learn and do a lot more than I'd bargained for. Here's just a small sample of what I've gotten to work on so far: - Refine my sales skills with the best sales org in the business -Create and build my own team from scratch- going from experiment stage to fully functioning cross-functional team -Learn how to hire, build, coach and manage a team -Learn how the operating system of a top-notch business is run, and how to replicate those processes - Learn how to go from start-up to scale-up.. which is incredibly valuable in the market. I have been trusted to do all this with a ton of autonomy, but also with the support and guidance of a very smart group of people. I can't imagine how else I could have learned, and actually *done* all of this any other way, any other place.. in such a short time. Hundreds of my colleagues have a story a lot like this one, and there will be hundreds more, I'll bet. All of these challenging opportunities have made this more than a "job", but really a fast track for my professional (and personal) growth. It is a privilege to work for and learn from an extremely bright and talented executive/management team. Our founders, and especially our CEO, have been a couple of the most influential people in my career. It is worth mentioning that I am also a mother with young kids, and have found an exceptional work/life balance here because our leadership genuinely cares about the team and creating an environment where working parents (of which there are many) have the flexibility to take care of our families and our careers at the same time. I've been able to balance everything that is important in my life while earning a very good living to provide for my kids. I am proud of the company, our product, the smart team I get to come work with every day to help our customers be successful in their businesses, and the fact that we have a lot of fun while we do it.

Cons

This is, for sure, very hard work and the bar is high here. Since tech moves so fast, and what our customers need is always evolving, we all need to move fast too. That means always being out of our comfort zones, updating skills and iterating. That might not be the right fit for everyone. You really have to thrive on that, I think, to get as much out of your work here as I have.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for five years helping our customers and company grow. We are delighted you've chosen to build your career and your sales expertise with HubSpot, and that you've done it while parenting young kids--they must be so incredibly proud of you. I would echo your experience on personal and professional growth--I think the opportunities here are unmatched along with the people, so thank you so much for your hard work, for your review, and for making HubSpot such a great place to work every day. Sincerely, Katie
