Pros
I’ve been at HubSpot for nearly a year now and I can honestly say it’s one of the best environments I’ve ever worked in. There’s a real sense of independence: I can choose whether I work from home or go into the office, which makes a huge difference to work–life balance.
What I appreciate most is how transparent everything is. Performance and career progression are based entirely on merit and clearly defined goals. Your success truly depends on your own actions, not on politics or favours, which makes it a very fair and motivating place to be.
Management is highly qualified, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us learn and grow. When leadership steps in on larger deals, the support we get is top tier - backed by experienced, capable people.
The sales team is full of ambitious yet kind and down-to-earth colleagues. And I love how the company actually lives up to its values - internally as well.
Honestly, I can say without hesitation that I enjoy my job! I feel valued and I would 100% recommend HubSpot to anyone looking for a place in which hard work and growth truly get rewarded.
Cons
We do have to outbound to new prospects ourselves - more so in small business than in mid-market or corporate, who get BDR support - but it is part of the job nonetheless.
