Pros
The new re-org allows employees to engage in different work across multiple sites in the US. Also, all the software or hardware tools needed were usually available or could be obtained without issue. I didn't realize how much I took that for granted until I left and worked at a place that doesn't want to spend money on tools.
Cons
The new re-org also requires working with other employees who are in different time zones. This requires more time spent in meetings to stay in sync and sometimes having meetings during your lunch hour to accommodate others.
