Pros

The pay is better than at most luxury boutiques and the traffic flow is low because the products are very expensive. The bread and butter of the brand are Birkins and Kelly bags. Customers in general are polite and respectful.

Cons

In the summer there are days when we see one or two customers walk in so it can be very boring. The worst thing about this store is that it is a franchise and there is no one to talk to as an employee when things go wrong. The management is dictatorial, narrow minded and mean spirited.

Pros

I get to work with a wonderful clientele and beautiful products. It's one of the few luxury retail companies that pay a salary as well a commission. I went to Paris for a week for the semi-annual buying trip.

Cons

Retail hours: nights, weekends, holidays.
