Pros

The people were quite nice and hard working. The best thing about Helloprint were the people who were friendly and helpful. unlimited holidays were a big plus.

Cons

I felt like the company had no direction, no strategy and no plan. Little to no understanding of how a business works. Often times decisions were made based on opinions of management rather than data based suggestions. The free breakfast, lunch and dinner is nice, but there were frequent emails of new rules such as you can only have breakfast until 8:45 from the CEO. The travel expenses where horrible. Due to the 19 cent rule, you often had to pay out of pocket and the company was not willing to help you solve this problem. We are all expected to stay after work hours and work. It’s an unwritten rule if you leave early for some reason, people would look at you. Salaries are really bad. Not to mention the mass firing that happened in 2023. Additionally, don’t expect a big promotion, if you get promoted it’s only for a few extra euros, not by much. Would not recommend, better to look for something else. Don’t forget that you are required to attend the mandatory outside work hour events. For example, twice a year they host a season prep night where you are absolutely expected to work until late in the night and if you attempt to leave early people will ask you why and look at you with a side eye.

Pros

The company used to have a great culture, with people being very friendly and lots of events (didn't leave much room for a personal life, but was great for expats who moved for the job and didn't know anyone since you can quickly make friends and become "part of the cult"). They also used to offer all 3 meals, snacks and coffee for free, next to the friday drinks and snacks. However, that started to come with more and more conditions, that you could only eat at specific times, and not to much or to big portions. Things got bad in 2023... One good thing is the "unlimited holidays" however many people are afraid to take advanmtage of it and they have too much work which they would have to catch up on after holidays.

Cons

It went from a place of "freedom and responsibility" to strict rules about working fully from the office, specific working hours, how much you eat or drink, to then letting go nearly half the employees because they hired too much without a plan and the company wasn't earning enough. Whenever the CEO would feel like it he would just randomyl announce a new rule about what we can or cannot do. They are pushing people to resign and creating a toxic and depresing enironment. If you are an intern you will work maybe even harder than a full-timer, but for very little money. And if you are a full-timer, especially junior, you will also work for little money, no pension, no bonus, and no growth opportunities (they don't even fully cover your travel costs, they just give the minimum 19c/km, which isn't enough for people who live far away). People who have left/ been fired in 2023 have switched jobs with up to 40% raises, so if you want a company with nice co-workers but where you can barely save money for those "unlimited holidays" , then this is the place for you. Also opportunities to learn for juniors are small. You will be thrown in the deep and many teams don't have capable managers to lead you or that you can learn from.

Pros

If you want to learn a lot and are willing to work hard for it, this is the company for you. The company culture is very important and results in an ambitious and amazing group of people.

Cons

If you find work-life balance the most important in a job, don't go to a scale-up. Working from home is not preferred.
