      The benefits are excellent. The client base is across the US so one is rather likely to find a position of choice.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, the performance criterion are often unclear and hinge on business development more than one's immediate responsibilities. Though all consulting agencies emphasize on development, it is particularly stark at HCL. Trainings are limited to HCL's their internal material which is rarely very helpful.

      Acceptable work culture Freshers are entitled with responsibilities. So good place to start learning. Job is secure Internal processes are very well organized

      Cons

      Lower and Middle level management are under qualified Compensation is low, with minimal hike or no hike if there is an excuse of recession Resource allocation to projects are not skill based No option for the employees to choose a career path

      There are many opportunities to learn and grow as a professional. In-house training modules, project level tasks let you venture into new arenas. They help you push your limits.

      Cons

      Compensation and benefits. They need to improve on their pay scale. Also need to work on employee satisfaction on a overall basis. Their Employee First strategy needs better implementation.
