Pros

-pays better than similar retail stores -flat corporate structure gives you access to people in charge -treats it's employees with respect, good benefits, and plenty of paid holidays -preference toward hiring internal when other positions open up, which gives you the opportunity move up more easily if you have the experience -the company is very socially conscious -it is retail, so you get a discount! 25% in the U.S. which is not as much as other retail stores, mainly because the prices are already low to begin with

Cons

-once again, it is retail, which means weekends will most likely be spent working -the company does not allow manager's schedules to work around schooling

Pros

The company has good benefits and is willing to promote within and lots of travel if you work in the right area.

Cons

The fact that the company seems to slowly fade away from creativity and it seems that the visual merchandiser job will be completely pointless in like another year. They are asking visuals to take on other non visual work loads while not taking away any of the visuals old job duties. It feels like they are forcing them to quite so they won't have to lay them off soon.
