Pros

Overall some of the best people work at this company - great hearts and pure motives. Leadership is wiling to always meet with you if you want face time to discuss anything. Demand for our product is at an all time high right now with the great resignation shifting how employers evaluate their brand. Indeed partnership brings A LOT of opportunities. If you are ready to grind this could be an amazing adventure for you to tap into a hybrid sales career.

Cons

Burn out is real, sadly. There is not enough headcount but that's everywhere. Quota's are high. Pay could be better - especially knowing we are under headcount by a lot. I'm easily working OT every single week - and most of my colleagues are as well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate your honesty. We are so fortunate to have incredible, talented colleagues at Glassdoor. Our people are absolutely the best and one of my top reasons for working here. As a leader, you’re right. I love meeting our people and it’s a daily priority for me. Thank you for recognizing our openness. I am excited to know that you see the great opportunity before us with the Indeed partnership. The market demand for employer brand is tremendous and our customers are looking to us for insights and guidance every day. Thank you for your hard work! I’m so grateful for your extra effort, but I’m very sorry that you are feeling burnt out. I know you’re not alone. I want you to know, I hear you. We are working closely with our Talent Acquisition team to swiftly make hires and are seeing progress each week. You’re right, It is competitive for talent and we want to continue to hire the best. Our Compensation Team regularly evaluates our positions and pay bands to ensure we are aligned with our compensation philosophy and we have raised this concern. If there is additional information I can provide regarding our benefits to support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly, at valerie.roush@glassdoor.com Valerie Roush, Interim Head of Sales

Thanks for the feedback. Here is how we manage our Total Reward practices, we lead with these four core principles: 1. Equitable, ethical and transparent approach 2. Competitive and responsive to the market 3. Globally consistent and locally sensitive 4. And being scalable and operationally efficient To establish our pay ranges, we target the 65th percentile for non-tech roles and the 75th percentile for technical roles against the market data sets. Our direct peers typically target the 50th percentile to create their base salary mid-points. In other words, our pay packages beat 65% and 75% of our direct competitors for the same role. We also take a pay for performance approach, which means we offer total rewards programs that reward you for individual and company success. We are deliberately paying more to high performers and those with high future potential within our organization. Finally, we are continuing to hire and retain teammates in a challenging environment and have made an investment that more than doubled our RSU pool for 2022 to deliver substantial increases in both new hire and in-seat RSU refresher grants. - Brian Conner, Sr. Director of Total Rewards and Operations

Pros

I work with some of the BEST people at Glassdoor. Everyone is helpful and collaborative. Glassdoor have built an inclusive community with a strong culture that I'm so happy to be part of. The benefits are the best I have ever seen and the work life balance they have struck is perfect.

Cons

Glassdoor are still living as if we are in an active pandemic but things have changed (in particular in EMEA) and it's time to get us together again. Lets start collaborating in person again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective on your experience on the EMEA CSM team. To hear that you have found the community to be inclusive, our benefits meet your needs, and you're able to find work life balance is so important. Fostering a culture where folks feel like they belong, individuals can share openly and authentically, and every voice is valued is a core pillar of our employee engagement goals. As for your desire to get back together in the office, I understand. Connecting via Zoom can be exhausting at times and community is core to what makes Glassdoor so special! Our Workplace Experience team is doing their best to strike the balance of keeping everyone safe and getting people back to the incredible offices they have been improving and investing in this year. Based on what they shared in the last All Hands, I'm optimistic we're close to reopening and hope they'll have news to share soon regarding the reopening our London (and Chicago, San Francisco, Dublin, & Ohio) offices. - Kira Dewey, Interim Head of CS
