Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. You've shared so many positives that I agree with - especially our people in CS! I'm also glad to hear you are finding the onboarding experience enjoyable as this is something we've significantly invested in. If you have specifics about what could be improved, please share with your manager so we can make it even better and smoother for future new hires! As for the sentiments you shared regarding our partnership with Indeed and integration of Fishbowl content, that is fair feedback. While we've made improvements, there is still plenty of work to be done. We're committed to tackling the challenges to make your job easier and improve the value to our employers. Thank you for being here on this journey and keep the feedback coming as we make progress! - Kira Dewey, Interim Head of CS

Pros

It's so refreshing to work at a company where your voice is truly heard. Recently, we had some challenging turn over and quota adjustments within the sales org and when we all spoke up with feedback, our leadership acted within 3 business days to make our lives better! What a true republic/democracy we have here! There is something so special about that. Also, our compensation packages are getting better and better. With an increase in our work/life balance "ME Days," more time off for new parents, and more. I've been here for 2.5 years and am already up for a promotion! That has never happened at any other company.

Cons

We wear many hats in GTM team, so be ready to be agile and expect change a lot!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and acknowledge the swift changes that were taken in response to your feedback. We care deeply about our employees and truly want to create opportunities for success and growth. How exciting that you are under consideration for promotion! You are right, agility is critical in today’s work environment and we’ve all become very adept at change management. We’ve made great progress together, but we know there is still more to do. The billing challenge is an example of that. Reducing operational challenges and improving customer experience are priorities for us. We continue to partner closely with Sales Operations and are focused on improving our processes whenever possible. Thank you again for your dedication and hard work. I hope you’ll be able to relax and recharge on those well-deserved extra days off. Val Roush, Interim Head of Sales

Pros

Glassdoor is an incredible place to work! The company actively listens and reacts to their employee's feedback. In the past couple years our benefits have been completely overhauled and they are currently amazing. Pay is great too. Awesome people all over the company and simply incredible work / life balance.

Cons

Some of the technology is fairly outdated and clunky, but the teams are working hard to modernize.

This is really great to hear, thanks for sharing! Glassdoor really stepped up their game recently on the compensation and benefits front and it’s great to hear the positive feedback. As you mentioned, our engineering team has made a lot of great progress modernizing our tech stack over the recent years. As with many fast growing tech startups, we have some cruft from the early days that we need to continue chipping away at. More importantly, we’ll continue to use modern tech going forward for all of our new products and services. Developer experience will continue to be a priority for us, and we’ll continue to invest heavily on that front to make Glassdoor a great place to work as an engineer. - John Stearns, VP of Engineering
