Pros

Co workers are great to work with when given the opportunity. But the does not seem to happen often

Cons

Upper management has driven the work force into the ground. Ever since Infection control has merged with Maquet, ever benefit from this company has become worse. Recently the performed a massive paycut to the field service employees causing hardships on the families of their employees. This follows several years of no pay raises, not even to match cost of living. The company has taken on the mentality of greed by raising prices on customers and not being able to deliver service due to lack of replacement parts or technical support.

Pros

Company car. Great products. Some very talented hard working people

Cons

Treat sales team like garbage. Treat customers worse. So many roadblocks to taking care of customers. Everyone internally only cares about their own priorities, budgets, targets. Theres no alignment with cross functional teams which makes good customer service impossible. Every year our compensation changes. They find creative wsys to pay us less each year. There have been a few compensation issues which resulted in the sales teams across many divisions allegedly getting “over compensated” resulting in us having to “payback” the company. And these weren't small sums. They recently restructured our “president club” to include people selling different product lines being ranked together. So you could be #1 for your job title but lose to someone selling completely different products. The company communication is horrible and flows one way: decisions are made in Europe that directly impact the US teams ability to be successful. These decisions are made with little to no input from the US leadership team. US leadership are basically puppets with zero autonomy and decision making capabilities. Our service teams who are the life blood of our company and are single handedly responsible for winning repeat business, are stretched so thin that they can barely handle their current business let alone handle any growth. Their priorities are not aligned with customer satisfaction but instead are aligned with company internal driven KPI’s. The best thing that could happen to this company would be for a reputable, successful, resourceful company to buy up some of the divisions and put the badly needed resources into fixing these crippling issues.

Pros

Good pay for top performers. Some amazing field level people who are dedicated to the patient and the customer. Nice products that work well.

Cons

Management by intimidation. Directors slamming employee phones down at national sales meeting.... Senior leadership has lost sight of the customer. Price increases is not a long term strategy with old technology.
