      Great work-life balance Gorgeous office campus with walking paths and ample parking Easy commute Good pay and benefits Vaccines portfolio is very strong

      Politics CEO is getting the boot Company likely to be broken up Horrible senior management has no idea what is happening Frequent lawsuits over ethical misconduct - Corporate Integrity Agreement is burdensome

      Lost it's way

      Pros

      The benefits are good. Open office space. Good employees on the most part. Good location. Chance for global relocation (whether you want it or not).

      Cons

      Company has lost its direction, and is no longer an innovator, except in cost cutting and reorganization. Senior Management's job appears to be managing-up to the next level of management in order to position themselves for the next reorganization. Recent leadership change in R&D more likely to lead to even more of the same.

      Pros

      Good camaraderie amongst work colleagues makes working at Gsk bearable. Able to leave at 4pm. Good amount of holidays. Share schemes are excellent value.

      Cons

      Crippled by pharma mantra. Unrealistic targets, no recognition. No career progression. Low relative salary and lots of responsibility, stressful.
