Pros

GE always care for there employees even in hard times. Flexible working hours. Companies believes, culture and values represent digital transformation. They have build a framework for working style which they call Fastworks which is based on lean startup principles. lot of focus on simplification and customer first mindset. following are company's believes: Customers determine our success (Customer focused priorities, urgent customer needs) Stay Lean to go fast (Lean Start-up/Fastworks/MVP/Build Measure Learn, service of speed and teamwork, flexible and responsive to the market., help streamlined a process and remove waste) Learn and adapt to win (open to learning and relentless improvement, fail fast to learn, remain competitive) Empower and inspire each other (Every one is a Leader, Encourages everyone to share his/ her opinion or viewpoint to improve the process. Deliver results in an uncertain world (act with urgency and play to win. handle changing priorities and deliver results faster.)

Cons

GE is going through hard times financially so not much opportunities to grow. We have many restrictions on anything that cost money i.e. travel for business, training,. too many processes and required approvals o get something done.

Butt Kissing & "Burn 'em and Churn 'em" Culture, but Nice Benefits

Pros

- Good Health, Dental, Vision - "Unlimited" PTO - Company says all the right stuff when it comes to being "employee friendly" - A variety of flexible working arrangements - Pay was competitive at best - Depending on position, you get a bonus

Cons

- Salaried with the expectation that you work over 40 hours a week - Deliberately understaffed - Good luck using any of that PTO as it is always at manager's discretion - Since PTO is "Unlimited", all that time off you can't use is never compensated for with a cash out - Good luck using a flexible work arrangement - For advancement, playing office politics is more important than performance or ability - Someone who works 100 hours a week but produces poor results is viewed more favorable than someone who works 40 hours a week and produces good results - Butt kissing culture - Favor contractors to avoid giving benefits wherever possible - Inflexible and unadaptable management
