Pros

You can move up in the company quickly.

Cons

The trainers and coaches will not be respectful of you or your concerns. The turn-over rate is insane and I have a feeling this is why. The company will always take the side of the coaches and trainers. Watching some of my peers be fired or given corrective measures for things that either didn't require them or they could not control (something like a death in the family) is atrocious.

Pros

It pays the base salary on time in compliance with the law.

Cons

The company adopted an attitude of "if you don't like it, resign". As you become a senior agent you will constantly get new responsibilities and the levels of stress will increase significantly, as you start dealing exclusively with the most complex issues; however, your salary is equal to the salary earned by people who just joined the company and are dealing with the easiest issues which require straight answers (a template) and don't involve arguing with customers hence don't involve stress. As a consequence, junior agents end up earning more than senior agents, because they can achieve the targets whereas senior agents can not. And at the same time junior agents have a higher quality of life in the workplace than senior agents. So getting a “promotion” is something terrible in this company. And to add insult to injury, the company is now taking advantage of the Covid 19 outbreak to unload even more work on senior agent's backs, without any pay rise. If you complain they simply "invite" you to resign. The company fired a substantial number of employees and now demands the remaining employees to have a productivity increase of at least 100%. The productivity bonus that used to be paid in money will now start to be paid in a card that is accepted by a very limited number of stores. Moreover, ordinary people aren’t given a chance to grow up in the company, as the job vacancies are always filled by friends, boy-friends or girlfriends of the managers; unless of course if there are more vacancies than the number of “friends of the managers”, in those rare occasions you might get a chance. This company is constantly saying that it values diversity, and indeed it values diversity of looks, but they do not accept diversity of opinions. If you have a point of view that is different from the team of manager’s point of view, then keep it for yourself, because you will be running the risk of getting retaliations (don’t be deceived by the “we value diversity” statement).

Pros

Good supervisors Good trainers Paid training Staff manages adjuster licensing in all 50 states

Cons

HR is dishonest about status of benefits I received a letter notifying me that my hospitalization insurance and life insurance polices were cancelled by my employer. My employer responded by sending an email saying that these cancellation letters were sent in error. Unfortunately, the itemized payroll deduction for the past couple weeks no longer include these benefits indicating that the cancellation letters were not in error, and were a bald face lie.
