Very Disorganized but somewhat nice

Pros

Got to travel and learn alot about PLC programming and relay troubleshooting.

Cons

Design is not very good due to large volume of projects, which will cause you to work extra hours during commissioning.

Many of our companies’ workload can be cyclical in nature as our work is mostly project-based. There are periods in which we all work together to make sure that milestones and deadlines are hit. However, Fives balances this with generous time-off policies and an emphasis on work-life balance / wellness.

Pros

Some great coworkers. Overall easy laidback atmosphere. The bad culture is beginning to change. Great desk setup - standing desk option and 2-3 monitors.

Cons

HR is a joke. Pay is not even REMOTELY competitive. Can't keep new people (who have been there <10 yrs) because low pay and drama. Other departments constantly need help from the engineering department. Takes YEARS for people to get the title and pay that matches their work/workload.
