Pros

If you are good and you have a good staff the job is very easy and can be fun. If you enjoy customer interaction this is for you

Cons

You can get strung along if your store is not doing too well. Advice is to ask for a transfer if slow sales are not your fault

Pros

The focus is on a few items - all marketing money goes to make customer experience better and best of all crew bonus.

Cons

Pros

Free food, fun atmosphere (circumstantial), decent scheduling. There's a secret shopper program that can pay out alright if you aren't scheduled with incompetent coworkers.

Cons

Ludicrous rules and expectations that are done just because "it's the 5 guys way" instead of being efficient or logical. Very tedious work. Because it's just flipping burgers, a lot of less-than-stellar employees get hired (a warning to anyone that's trying to work here as an in-college job). Shouldn't be stressful, but poor managers and other team members make it that way for anyone who, for some reason, tries to care. Really low pay for the work demanded. Very limited opportunity for growth (advancement for most stops after about a dollar raise and a different colored t-shirt).
