Pros

If you work with a good manager the crew really pulls together and it's a good work environment. Free meals. Great interaction with the customers.

Cons

Scheduled with a manager that does no work. Always short handed but forced to take short cuts or go against corporate policy to close as fast as possible at night. No pay raises, no matter how many years you have been there.

Pros

I love talking with the customers and interacting with them. The food is good quality and i believe in the product that is being served.

Cons

The pay is completely unfair for the amount of work that is expected of us to do. We onto even get enough hours to make up for the lack of pay. The five guys in Fayetteville nc are owned by 1 man and he cuts hours so he can avoid having to pay for health care. He refuses to give raises. There are a few employees I know who've had their serve safe for over 4 months and still have not received the .50 raise that was promised. The grey shirt pick and choose which rules they want to follow so it gets confusing on what is and isn't allowed. A grey shirt is always suppose to be available upon request and 1 must be present at all times in the store but unfortunately that is not the case. They go and sit in the office or outside in their cars, and when asked where they have been they reply "handling business".
