Pros

Good atmosphere, great customers, great burgers & fries...if they are made the five guys way and not just the way someone decides to do it. Red shirts have great hours, and in some cases, have more respect for the company. Great District Manager and General Management...depending on who that is as well.

Cons

Being a manager means no life, except the Five Guys life. Close & open back to back...which means no sleep. A lot of the grey shirts are lazy, don't care about helping others out...until it's time to close, then it's all about hurrying up, and not so much about doing anything 100%. The pay is not equal to the responsibilities/time involved.

Pros

Free food. Full 30 minute breaks are not required (in case you want some extra cash), secret shopper bonus, tips.

Cons

Owners are terrible. They definitely have favorites, and they barely speak to anyone else. They aren't people you look forward to seeing. Management needed some work. Two of the managers did not deserve a job there and did not treat everyone equally. One was quite lazy.
