Pros

Full time pay for part time work. Good benefits. Strong focus on work / life balance.

Cons

Tenure is valued over talent. Performance is not rewarded in the compensation system. Mediocrity is encouraged. There is no accountability for results. Management is weak and unwilling or unable to make decisions. Resources are scattered across hundreds of meaningless efforts instead of focused on the critical projects. Nepotism is rampant.

Pros

The People are wonderfull. They really care about one another, and management gives you the flexibility to balnace work and home life.

Cons

It's big and confusing. They don't seem to have their ducks in a row. Processes get in the way and everyone does the same task differently.

Pros

Health benefits for part time employees. The pay is comparable to competitors such as UPS. Stable company with great brand recognition.

Cons

Managers lack training on how to effectively deal with employees. Many of middle management has been with Fed Ex for a long time and may not have the best skills or managment tools, but a good grasp of the business.
