Pros
It was an interesting work experience, with potential for professional development. The work atmosphere was generally fine, despite the working culture shock and the organisational changes staff was going through.
Cons
The improvement goals set by management were unrealistic. New demands were added on top of previous ones without realizing that most of the staff wasn't given enough time and resources to embrace the new working culture. Shift work is not for everyone. It can easily affect your social life.
